YO14 9SHOn a Reighton Sands holiday your cares will slip away. Perched on a cliff top overlooking five miles of sandy beach, this is the perfect location for you all to spend time together.Situated in a commanding position high on the cliff top above Filey with stunning views of the 5 mile stretch of sandy beach from Speeton to Filey. Perfect for sunbathing, surfing, and beach games the wide sandy bay offers you and your family some real together time - don't forget the picnic! Filey is a traditional English seaside resort and is a fishing town on the North East coast of England. Filey is the perfect location whether you prefer an active holiday or whether you would just like to relax. Most of the town stands above the sea on a cliff which provides beautiful views of the bay below. The bay runs from Filey Brigg to the chalk cliffs of Speeton, and with its 5 mile stretch of sand it is a perfect place to enjoy a leisurely stroll. The Park is about half way between the seaside resorts of Bridlington and Scarborough, this clifftop holiday park in North Yorkshire has access to a variety of lovely beaches including its own sandy one, which is just a short walk down a sloped path or you could catch the train that provides regular trips to and from the beach to the park .As well as our North Sea vistas and countryside surroundings, Reighton Sands is a lovely green holiday environment with its own nature trail, which has been marked out using wildlife boards. These show you what birds and animals you can try spotting in each area of the park – which is excellent if you’re bringing inquisitive young children with you.The Parks sports and leisure facilities are loads of fun for people of all ages and there is daily kids’ clubs, especially to give your little ones things to keep them interested. And the live, evening entertainment shows are all family-friendly. Reighton is a nice picturesque village nearby that you can walk to, or you can stroll along the cliffs.

And the beach stretches all the way from here to Filey, five miles away, so it’s easy to find a nice quite spot for a picnic. There’s an RSPB centre at Bempton Cliffs just a few miles from Reighton Sands, where you can see some of the thousands of sea birds that call these cliffs home. Just outside Bridlington you can find the Hallowkiln Paintball and Laser Combat Experience. It’s a great day spent outside, running madly around the woods before you drag yourselves back to the holiday park for a relaxing drink in the beer garden. The city of York is well over a thousand years old and is well worth visiting on days out from your North Yorkshire holiday home. We recommend seeing the Jorvik Viking Centre, York Dungeons and York Minster.
